Team Diony x Ibiza

If you’ve seen our stories or social media over the past few weeks – you’ll know that we recently went to Ibiza!

Lise and Ali attended the Agency Hackers Super Summit during the week, chatting business with some of the best agency owners across the UK. Beautiful sunsets, boat trips and some top tier business advice sounded just too good to be true and it wouldn’t be fair to just let them do the rest of the weekend alone…

So some of team Diony packed our bags and flew 1400 miles to spend a weekend in the sun, celebrating all of the hard work that’s gone on behind the scenes over the past year. Being in an airport at 5am with your colleagues is definitely a make or break experience – thankfully everyone survived the trip and we’ve come back to the office feeling refreshed and ready to smash the next chapter as a team.

We spent most of our time on the island relaxing, playing games and exploring the scenery but the highlight of everyone’s time away was the boat trip. We rented a boat from some fantastic local owners and spent the day seeing some of the best sights that Ibiza has to offer. Thankfully no sharks were spotted, but a few of the team jumped in the sea, went paddle boarding and snorkelled while the rest of the team sunbathed and took in the scenery. One of the SEO team also looked too far over the edge of the boat and lost his brand new sunglasses… thankfully everything and everyone else returned home safely! 

The trip was a great team bonding experience – we discovered that the social team are terrible dancers, Lise and the SEO team are partial to a bit of 90s R&B and that our Head of Design definitely needs to top up on the factor 50 next time he goes to Spain!

There were a lot of laughs to be had and many memorable moments that we’ll treasure for a very long time.
